René Barbera sings Elvino in a new Sonnambula production in Liège by Jaco Van Dormael (Mar. 13–21). Speranza Scappucci leads the cast, which also includes Nino Machaidze (Amina) and Marko Mimica (Rodolfo). In April, Barbera heads to Palermo for Rossini’s Stabat Mater alongside Maria Agresta, then to Florence for Don Martino in a new staging of Cherubini’s Lo Sposo di Tre e Marito di Nessuna.
