San Francisco Opera – Il Barbiere di Siviglia

This post is a little late but things have been quite busy since leaving San Francisco and I’m finally getting a chance to sit down and write a little something about my time there.

This particular Barber of Seville, for a number of reasons, ended up being my favorite by far.  I had an incredible time on and off stage with my wonderful colleagues and, as always, the city itself treated me well.  This was my 3rd production in back to back seasons at SFO and it has really become like home to me and Anna (we got Married November 3, 2014 in San Francisco between rehearsals for La Cenerentola) and we will miss our San Francisco family so much!

This fall has been rather difficult and I couldn’t have asked for a better place and way to end it.  The company was so wonderful to me when my grandmother passed away and allowed me to take a few days to attend the funeral and be with family.  That kindness is something I will not soon forget.  Thank you San Francisco Opera for the honor of performing on your stage and for making San Francisco home!  Until next time.
